You did not show your trades on the chart.

I did not show the trades on my chart to save space in the forum. My intention was show the times that my setup occurred and then you could look at your chart and see the trade.

Can you explain why you eliminated the other components of the Ichimoku? Also, why you're cloud doesn't extend forward 26 periods?

I use the indicator called "IchiCloud" which only plots the 2 Senkou Span lines. The full indicator "Ichi Lines" which plots all 3 lines of the Ichimoku Cloud I personally don't like. To answer your question directly though Ninja Trader 7 does not plot the Chikou Span line that you are refferring to 26 bars in advance due to data or processing problems. I'm not sure as to why exactly it is something I read in a Ninja forum somewhere when I was evaluating the indicator

Hi Lornz,

I enjoy reading your posts, as it seems you have a good insight into trading.
Your trading style is a bit of an enigma to me however, and I am wondering if perhaps you could detail some of how you trade etc?

I do not mind sharing the details of my trading approach to you or anyone else on the forum that wants to take a serious look at how I make money. As a learning experience, they say write a trading plan - right ? I have created a PDF manual that explains my methodology to the specific rules. I actually review it myself on a daily basis to get myself locked in to trading.

The cloud i use does plot forward. PM if you want it because that is one of the pivotal points of the cloud.

NT7 and Ichimoku Kinko Hyo

Hello,
my favourite indicator is Ichimoku Kinko Hyo.

Loading this indicator into NT Version 7.0.1 causes that the so called "Cloud" isn't displayed 26 periods ahead of the last bar/candle.

thnks for the advice redratsal I downloaded the AalchimokuNt7 and after importing it to my chart is does not look like fat tails thumbnails in the link you suggested. i see on the chart that the parameters are the same but on my chart the 2 clouds are plotting at different levels and the Aalchimoku is not plotting 26 bars in advance
