Charles, I was never in your room but I've studied your methods and applied them to my trading, using them for the 6E, GC and TF. My trading has improved markedly as a result. So, many thanks for your contributions. They are much appreciated.
An Email I just send to Charles after hearing the sad news...
Dear Charles,
I am shocked and dazed to hear the news that you are closing your FREE trading room. Charles I echo the sentiments of a lot of people when I say that you have become a beacon of hope for hundreds of frustrated and almost hopeless would-be traders.
Until I actually saw you take some of your magificent trades, and I saw it with my own EYES, I NEVER really believed anyone could actually day trade for a living, period.
Please Charles, Please, do anything but close this room; at least for a little while until some of us have an opportunity to really understand these terrific setups.
Charge a fee, require attendes to pass a test based on your trading manual in order to pre-qualify them, anything. There has to be a way for you to attendee-manage the room!

I got the email too. I would agree with the majority of the points.I'm not even sure "anymeeting"
is totally secure especially when asking for emails confirmations. And a major point was that he didn't want "vendor" members. Who knows, maybe the HFT firms' spies have already ruined his edge by adding the "CJ 6e" algo to their massive array of stop hunting algos. That could be why the setups in the last two weeks have been more sloppy or ruined at the trigger point , i.e. "unbelievable". So maybe another reason he had to shut it down because the longer his edge was exposed to the public, the worse the big money would capitalize on it. Just a theory and he wouldn't be the first to react this way. (see 40yotrader on ET). I know he didn't want to be a vendor, but maybe he should have had some kind of paypal fee structure to pay for the time, expenses, and a webadmin.
Bobby, I did believe people could do this consistently. But most of them are already working for GS or for a prop firm or run their own funds already. (if you look on youtube, there are millionaires working at prop firms making thousands every day. but most don't share their secrets because the "edge" would be ruined obviously) (check out elitetrader for other successful examples: 40yotrader, ksmetana, huggybear, neke, etc.) I had seen instructors before Charles who were making pips consistently and others using other methods (stocks,options). (what about Master Reza?) But Charles was one of the very few I saw who actually shared their method and demonstrated it completely and did not make up a bogus system for "everyone else" like I saw in other trading rooms and many vendors. As Charles said, he had to "kiss a lot of frogs on the way".
Even though I never got to attend his room, I was really looking forward to it. I've been studying his method and practicing it for the last few days now. I was hoping to practice for another week or so, until I understood it well enough to request access to his room. It's unfortunate to hear of the demise of a great room. I hope you change your mind, Charles, and like bobbyacim says, maybe require some form of pre-qual before granting someone access. Heck, I would even be willing to pay a reasonable fee to help you with maintenance, etc.
Either way, thanks for contributing such a great strategy! I respect your decision and wish you the best.

I wanted to take a moment and say thank you to all traders who have followed my method and who gained some trading knowledge by joining in on my free trading room.
As you all know by now I abruptly ended the trading room and blocked my website's access after seeing the post about email spamming which mentioned me specifically as the possible culprit in someone's email address being spammed
let me take just a moment to inform you that nothing I did spammed your email. I was using Any Meeting to run my trading room and create videos, your email address was never known to AnyMeeting. When I scheduled a webinar I only entered my email address as an attendee and had the invite link sent to me only
After recieving the link in my mailbox I forwarded the link to everyone's email address I had in my contacts folder via those traders who had requested access. In doing so I also copied every mail I sent to you back to my inbox, so if anyone has been spammed by what I was doing then I would be getting spammed as well which I'm not.
this is why i asked everyone interested in attending my trading room to contact me by email so I had control of the emails being sent and control on who was allowed in based off of your knowledge of my method
All those who currently know my email address I will continue to offer you email support on any of your questions. The trading room will be closed and the website blocked until the post specifically naming me as the potential problem is removed from this thread and my name removed from the other one.
I don't know what happened here, but I do know you have tremendous power on this web site, after all, IT IS YOUR CREATION!
Is there anything you can do to bring closure to what Charles is complaining about????
I do feel it was unfair to specifically name names in the administrative posts in this thread regarding this issue. I think that post could have been handled more diplomatically without specifying any specific user names and specific examples.
I think it is a fair request to remove any specific user names from that administrative post. The message will still be clear and yet be fair and politically correct without singling out any user. The leadership of any organization has the burden to protect all it's members yet not at the expense of any particular member. This issue can easily be rectified by editing the administrative posts.
You are overly gracious and kind for sharing your system and more importantly your time with all of us. It's sad that you've been punished for your good deed. I don't blame you at all for your decision.
