I have been trading the forex market for about four years now, (live), and no where near full time, but I have found only one indicator that is important to my trading; that is, the RSI. Other than that I just look left; Structure does leave clues. Hope this helps.

DO you mean the tool of trading strategy???
In forex, trading tools is needed and it must for our goal in trade.
I've used many tools and attached it to my metatrader of liteforex broker and some others

I love Ninjatrader too. But I think the charting is not as smooth as other software like CQG.

RSI and Fibonacci are my main tools. I like to keep my chart clean. Of course the trend lines and such are a must, learn to read price action, indicators are way too laggy and only tell you after the fact.

I've found price bands or envelopes combined with a momentum indicator to work best for my Forex system.
Of course the choice is yours as to what to choose, how to trade them, and on what time frame.
They are basically all similar to some extend: you know that your overall trading result would depends on your money management plan more than anything else.

Price Bands example:
1. Keltner Channel
2. Bollinger Bands
3. Donchian Channel
4. etc...

Momentum Indicator:
1. MACD
2. TSI
3. Stochastic
4. etc...

Successful people will do what unsuccessful people won't or can't do!
