I have read that other forum:
6E quote is merely derived from spot EURUSD quote and thus 6E's supply and demand and volume can't have any influence on 6E quote
Is this true?
It was always suspicious for me, how can they so closely correlated.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
If its true, that quote of 6E depends on other factor than limit and market orders / taking and providing liquidity then does it make any sense, reading the tape, tracking DOM and analyzing volume and market footprint??
market makers and other hf liquidity providers update their price based on the spot and futures price. Because of that you'll get a level 2 and volume data highly correlated with the true causality. It's harder to use volume when there is more then one instrument involved in moving your traded instrument but the relevant info is still there. 6E also moves in regards to the e-mini, fdax, 6B etc. (after all 6E compares two economies USA and Europe)
Thank your answer Rikers!
I guess it will take some time for me to prcess the new iformation..
I must wider my knowledge to understand better the futures markets, and put a totally new base my theory of trading.
