Hello

Seeking opinion of BM community. What do you think ids the time scale mostly use by big forex traders. I think the majority of small players use the 15minutes and 1Hour. But how about the big Big players.

They probably look at our time frame to know how we react, but do they use the same one for there big and massive orders?

Any opinions appreciated

Martin

Daily or weekly.

Weekly & Daily basically for multiple days swing trades.
I don't think many Forex traders play the intradays on currencies :-)

For intraday, the best time frames in my opinion are the 60min and the 10min candlesticks.

Successful people will do what unsuccessful people won't or can't do!

They can trade on any time frame really, but I would say:

*Investors focus on Weekly

*Traders focus on the Daily

*Swing Traders focus on 1h to 4h

*Day Traders focus on 15m to 30m

*Scalpers focus on 5m and 100ticks to 400ticks

It is not a exact science, you do and use whatever suits you.

He is talking about spot market, not futures. You still think many people are trading less than hourly on spot? I don't...

I do not know how many people, and how to quantify it, but yes some of them does.
They use big time frames, but they will find entries and better prices on intraday time frames, and this can be time frames less than 1h...
