The journalst (and the magazine) went through several leads and they got stuck with Dorian, him being their last chance. I guess they didn't want to waste 2 months of sleauth work and money, thus they went ahead with the article even if the evidence was weak....
I mean come on, the journalist go to see the guy and she is not even having a recorder of some kind????
I think this a bit propaganda-ish. The whole thing stinks kinda, I'd assume a guy that created this would've been given accolade of some sort not pushed into the darkness. Some institutions trade and analyze it.
