I'm looking for a crypto platform that allows me to place an OCO bracket order (or at least a stop) at the same time I place my entry order, and the only one I can find that seems to do this is Tradestation Crypto. The various exchanges (Binace, etc.) seem to make you place a bracket or stop after you place an entry order. Can anyone confirm if this is true or not?

Just FYI, I haven't used Tradestation for Crypto but I believe I heard that their model is 'Trade with market maker' and not 'order book' which probably means your slippage would be higher

The most important thing I have learned about Crypto is to pay attention to coins in circulation and market cap. This will give an idea on how much a coin could be worth and if it is possibly under/over valued. Lets take a look at the tale of two popular coins on the opposite end of the price spectrum: Ethereum and Raven Coin. At the time of this post ETH is at 3378 and RVN is at 0.128. What I propose is to figure out what the max possible price would be at a certain market cap.

To do this lets set a theoretical market cap at 1 Trillion for both. I am using this number because BTC recently hit this milestone.

Market cap is calculated by Current Price x Coins in Circulation. Below is the current price and Market Cap.

To figure out the max possible price take: 1 Trillion Market Cap / Coins in Circulation = Max Price.

As the number of coins for ETH goes up, the max price goes down. If all the coins were in circulation for RVN then the max price would be 47 and some change.

For fun I took RVN's coins in circulation x ETH current price: 30 trillion market cap. Total coins in circulation would be 70 trillion. For comparison, there is currently 1.2 trillion us dollars in circulation.

To be clear; I am in no way saying the market cap could not go higher than 1 trillion. What I am suggesting is if your buying a coin for 0.02 cents that has 50 billion coins in circulation what is the realistic long term return? Its certainly not a $1000 a coin.

** If my math is wrong please call me on it.

Robert

I wish I had done these calculations several months ago when I had bought RVN

But if RVN goes to 0.24 and ETH goes to 5000 which would you rather own?
