Dorman has provided me with CQG login details which I use with sierra.
Has anyone tried their CQG login details on the tradingview platform because I am unable to login and view live futures data with the CQG credentials that I have.
Dorman is one of the approved brokers on the tradingview list but Dorman are telling me that I need to pay extra which sounds like horsesh** to me.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
I've been able to log in successfully last time I tried, some months back. I have a CQG login via AMP (you are right, I think there should be no extra fees for tradingview.) First you must create an account with tradingview.com, free or "pro." Next, go to a chart of a futures symbol. There should be a dropdown menu accessible via a button click somewhere... and in that, look for something like "Login with CQG credentials." This is from memory at the moment, I hope it is helpful!
I am doing a demo of CQG and Tradingview combo with AMP and I cant seem to pull up a continuous futures chart. Normally the free version of Tradingview has this under ticket ES1!. With CQG Im only able to pull up the current contract month and future months. Any work around for this?
Does anyone here use TradingView.com for their charting software? Recently I'm experiencing a software glitch where I'm unable to click the X that appears on the right side of ticker symbols, and can't remove tickers from my watch list. Support said that this is an issue specifically for Windows 10) PCs that have touchscreens. Is anyone else experiencing this issue and found any workarounds? Thanks!
I am with Dorman via NinjaTrader and have Continuum (which is CQG) credentials for data & routing but were unable to use them as login on TradingView.
I contacted Dorman (almost two years ago) and they said indeed I would need to complete a new application. They wrote: "Even though the Ninja account is with Dorman as the FCM, it is still a separate entity". I think the same counts for Sierra.
Dorman wanted me to setup with CQG and I would be billed for data & routing (although I am with Dorman and have CQG credentials). I left it at that.
AMP (and other brokers) offers TradingView for free to their customers so that's why it will work.
