Educational Videos for learning the Basics of Futures
For folks that are interested in learning the basics of Futures trading, I came across this video series which is pretty informative, easy to watch, and free of cost.
I have no affiliation with them, just passing this info along after spending some time looking at the videos - it might be helpful for newcomers looking to get into futures and having the terminology explained in layman terms.
This is, as you say, not about futures, so it is off-topic for this thread.
I do not see where it would be on-topic, because we have a generally "no politics" policy in this forum. I took a look, and while this is about history, it is from a political point of view and it does not assist anyone in trading.
In the future, please keep your posts oriented more toward trading. There is an "Off Topic" section for anything else, but it is better to not post about political matters there either.
Thanks.
Bob.

Thanks for your kindly advise how I can improve my way of posting in the forum. Will keep it in my mind and I really admire your friendliness and the way you brought the topic on the table . Motivating
In order to get some basics about futures I would strongly suggest the CME website that has some amazing introductory videos.
They are not meant to teach you trading, but they are so useful to understand the reason why futures exist in the first place. Maybe they dive a little bit too much into the technical details of the contract but it's definitely worth watching these vides at least once.
