hi, does anyone know where one can find historical roll dates of a particular commodity future contract ?

I don't know if this will help you or not, but here is an options expiration calendar:

Option Trading Tools: Option Expiration Calendar - SchaeffersResearch.com

For equities, rollover is always the thursday prior to opex on the HMUZ months, for example. This goes back several years which is nice.
