CL first trade date??

Hi,
just a trivia question here.
anyone know what day/month/year the CL first traded on the NYMEX?

from what i find it was in 1983.
i called CME, and then NYMEX, and didnt get an answer.
googled several times and still not found it.

I did find this list of First Trade Days on CME, but didnt have CL,
but may prove useful for someone else.
