Welcome to futures.io.

Welcome, Guest!

This forum was established to help traders (especially futures traders) by openly sharing indicators, strategies, methods, trading journals and discussing the psychology of trading.

We are fundamentally different than most other trading forums:
  • We work extremely hard to keep things positive on our forums.
  • We do not tolerate rude behavior, trolling, or vendor advertising in posts.
  • We firmly believe in openness and encourage sharing. The holy grail is within you, it is not something tangible you can download.
  • We expect our members to participate and become a part of the community. Help yourself by helping others.

Hindsight says I walked into that one, but I'm not a line guy, took a bad read on participant expectations.

That complete round trip was much further than I had considered...had thought there would be some range play. Took my lumps.

Basically didnt respect the fact that the daily could spring like that.

that because you're making assumptions based on personal bias, and not trading the market. i don't even trade this stuff and i could see that coming from a mile away.

@tigertrader is it fair to say from an analysis perspective a fat vpoc at start of the day 53.20) a push down with relative ease leaving a lot of untested areas then a fatter distribution (51.70) then after it got over that lump a big push back whoosh to vpoc?

are you trading the chart, or crude oil?

i think you're confusing the chart with the underlying instrument, which is a commodity.
