Wow, how many are bill spreaders vs directional traders?

In that pic, 1 outright/directional, 1 spreading only, and 3 a bit of a mix.

If you wouldn't mind, would you have some rough stats on what % of traders are doing what in those categories you mentioned?

1.) Directional
2.) Bill Spreaders
3.) Combination of both

Your insight is appreciated greatly!

Hmm, %ages? I guess 20% are doing oil spreads, 40% rates so could be a mix of outrights and spreads depending on what's happening, 30% notes/bonds (2 through to 10 year mostly) usually directional with occasional spread perhaps, 10% pure outright in equities or bonds. Does that make 100%?

Yup, that'll do it.

So how do you like the training so far? The usual drill, stay in the market all day just scalping off the DOM, calculate the hedge ratios, or what? If you can't say thats cool. Are they're many prop shops in the UK?

I've not been btw, but have quite a few friends that have either tried out and been accepted or declined for personal reasons. All in Australia.
