ZB is trading more like UB rather than the old ZB (when it was a 15 year bond contract), much thinner, bigger moves, and less liquidity. There really isn't a huge amount of flow in such long durations compared to the shorter durations like ZF and ZN.

No doubt. Sounds to me like cudashark knows a thing or two. If you open a trade room let me know too.

Let me know as well if you open up that room. I'm still trying to figure all this out. I'm the new kid on the block. Lol

I went on holiday med Feb until now.

I noticed that the volume had been decreasing since mid-Jan and the action was showing signs of computerized channel trading. That coupled with the disconnection to the standard correlation to the broader markets; well I just stepped away …

The move off the top has brought me back but the volume still stinks. The average limit order sizes should be at least 400 – 600.

Last year when the average volume was 800 it was a lot better.

I am going to make some trade videos to test setting up a ZB room. I would like to share them with you to get constructive feedback on how to improve the presentation.

I will then set up a trade room much like Al Brooks room…

Thanks

Ray

Good morning all,

I am setting up my charts today so I probably wont record today.

However...look out this week for the auction week move. I will expect the ZN and ZB sell off especially Tuesday and Wednesday until Later Thursday to Friday.

Typically the Broker Dealers want to suppress the price to get it on the cheap then sell them later at a profit..

Watch for it...

Ray

PS Peter Davis of Jigsaw Trading has extended a special offer for his software for anybody following my trading.

"Friends of Ray" discount coupon code: "7F153E54"

I use Jigsaw extensively for my trading.

Correlations With Broader Markets;

Given my previous post on the ZN & ZB Auction price movement. It will be interesting if it holds up even when the broader markets sell off.

That would break the correlation between the broader market movement and bond yield.

Hi all,

Today will be my first day back…

The low as I see it 145’29 ish.

I also don’t know if it will get there.

The 147’26 may also be it.

kinda expect a range from 147’26 up to 153’24 with important stops at 151’30 area.

I expect the price to channel until the 30 auction the go back up in a stepped manner.

Ray

Ray , I too see 147.27 as at least a temporary stopping pt. as it is a pivot along w/149.05 as a resistance area. I only trade the trend and was able to sell two pullbacks before the 8:20 open for my 5 ticks for the day . I only trade ZB now and find it very good to trade . I can quite often make my goal of 5 ticks before the open. Good Luck ZB traders
