That is inaccurate. I wonder why they are so off. Here are the volume numbers from the CME Website:

odd. ok thanks for the HU(head up)! i was looking at my barchart.com indy that pulls in the contracts and it was still showing feb for some reason.. maybe it, or the site doesnt update till the end of the day. anyways thanks again PB!

Here's a good trade on. Market was balancing and exhibited an epic stop run as seen on the cumulative delta I have on the chart here. You can see the huge candle as traders started bailing their short positions. This is a great short trade back to balance. I've scaled out of 2/3s and will just monitor to see if buyers step in now that all the inventory was cleared out.

So why take a trade like this? Market was imbalanced first thing this AM. We then came back into balance. After moving back into balance, the sellers backed off and buyers were still present which pushed price higher creating an imbalance. Because we're switching back and forth a short trade back to balance is feasible. And by balance, I'm referring to perceived value.

I was reading this again today and I was wondering if you could explain further what you see on the Cum Delta (see the bold red statement from your original message above). How do you come to the stop run conclusion from what's shown on the cum delta.

I see we open out of balanced

I saw Initiative buying on the open drive, taking out globex highs

Waited for a pull back into value for a long position

If we fail to the upside with a confimation of responsive Selling and come back into value i will look for a trade back into value

in retrospect, the stepup just above the eth vwap should have been noted more closely, as it was fridays naked vah...sl should have been 96.10, just above the pb retrace

Will look for a break out of this months highs

We have news out in 5 min

Existing Home Sales and Richmond Fed Manufacturing Index

Will try and trail my stop untill we break out with a upward price exploration

untill we come back into value

Hey guys,

My NT is crashing on me. Completely freezing up every time I try to open it so, using TOS today for charting.

Market ran right up to the bracket/excess high. Could've played this two ways. Long up to this level or just wait for the short trade.
