Lol ain't that the truth When I watch crude, I am not watching any order flow or anything like I do with my primary market, so I really can't read as easily what it looks like "in the trenches," I only have the structure to go by; and even if I did, I am not used to the movement in crude so I'd probably get slapped around a bit. Good job and great patience on holding for your target!

LoL indeed

I was goign to say your the S&P man were im the Crude man

I only watch CL, used to watch S&P but just was not my style

Any ways good stuff what we are doing

I was short this morning

But im long now....from the lows

Attachment 105471

We have a nice cluster of Daily ma`s above us here from $92.50 up to $93.20

Would not supprise me if we saw a probe...test higher today if we hold these lows

Waiting to see what happened around todays RTH/ETH vwap`s..........

Ryan:
Great call on the long today and thanks for your commentary / posts and sharing your charts. I am presently reading the Dalton books and trying to wrap my head around market profile and following this thread has been a great accelerator to this learning process.

Your long setup today around the Thursday, Friday and todays LOD is clear. Price bounced off of IB lower 1 as well as SDx2 lo of the VWAP. Price is also rejected from the lower side of Fridays excess low (acting as support) and the lower end of the Mar 5 Excess Hi (Acting as resistance).

At the time and in hindsight these are some justifications to take a long position. I am interested to understand if there was anything in the footprint or elsewhere that I missed which may have helped to justify building a long position at the point you went long.

Note I had just exited my runner from an earlier short position and I normally will allow for some consolidation before reversing my directional bias.

Thanks
Ron

Same i was short and took a target off at Fridays Lows when i saw this and buyers absorbing price

I then waited to see if they were going to try and break it down further and pulled the trigger for my long just after the the 3rd last pull back to the IB 1st ext

I mean it was good risk at that point

It looked like it was going to hold that ref point and the risk reward was there to be taken advantage off

I hope this is not off topic.

Those of you who are trading CL Live, what kinds of spreads and fills are you getting these days? Slippage?

Thanks.

Missed that beautiful long off the open

Straight up buy in that situation

Gap up.....O/N inventory way out of balance

Buyers responded

I hesitated and missed my entry

Waited for the market to came back into RTH developing value and bought the lows and the high of ETH value

Trying to target the high of the previous bracket around $93.70 also lines up with the 1 IB ext

If we come back into ETH value and accept i will bail on my long and re calculate the situation at hand

Were right in the middle of the cluster of daily ma`s i pointed out yesterday, you can see them on my ETH vwap chart

Hi,

I was wondering what you think about the strong daily resistance at the bear trend line?

Cheers!

Hi,

I was wondering what you think about the strong daily resistance at the bear trend line?

Cheers!

Looks like the market has respected it so far

I believe its more the excess areas from $93.20 to $93.46

Im playing more attention to this structure and also i would not take trade based off this analysis

Just know it might play a part...
