thanks for comments. The LSMA as advised by WK are 15 and 18 i.e. two separate lines using DTPro's settings. Hope that helps.

Best of luck to you

L

@ESFXtrader and @leprechaun

I am trying to understand the system and hope to learn a lot from both of you, if I write what I understand so far could you please confirm if the following are correct and what I am missing:

1) You assume that prices move back towards the green line
2) A bar closing past the 2 MA's can signal an entry, the direction os signalled by the bar, ie green bar is bullish
3) Touching BB can signal both entry & exit
4) The green line can act as support, I see you enter positions here but I don't see how you will know if it will act as support or if candles will pass through it?
4) Trades can be confirmed by:
- CCI above 45 for longs, CCI below -45 for shorts (Use the 5 count back method for exits)
- RSI above 50 for longs, RSI below 50 for shorts

Questions:
  • Can you get in and out of a futures contract within only 10 ticks? Is there no spread with futures like there is with stocks?
  • When you enter a trade how many ticks away do you set your stop loss?
  • When and where do you move the stop loss to once your trade moves in the correct direction?
  • When charts move this fast how do you move your stops and exit positions so fast? Do you trade on the graphs? Do you use Limit orders?

Thanks

Do you have an update on how you got on plouisville? Seems a shame for this thread to die, hope leprechaun and ESFX come back to it.

Fellow traders,
Actually, the LSMAs are 18 and 21, although 15 and 18 may work just as well. I will stay with what works for me.
I am not far from enjoying SS income, where I can lesson my withdrawals of my trading accounts and multiply it more rapidly. We plan to travel more and enjoy the good life.
Below are 2 charts: 20 min and 4 tick (r). Note the color of the rolling MA or what was green MA. I have placed a blue 19EMA over top of it and it matches it exactly. To date, I have not duplicated the LSMAs.
Check out the 20 min chart pullback to the 19 EMA and RMA and note the continuation pink line drawn from it. I have found that this has worked so very often and without it, you could miss the entry. Using the price at which it crosses the pink line is 104.17 and the price on the close of the candlestick on the 4 tick (r) chart is also 104.17, as noted on the data box.
Maybe you can take something out of this info that can improve your trading.
I hope this is not in vain.
Try what I have shown you and see if you cannot duplicate it for yourself.
Good trading.
WK
PS the time of the trade open was 1410 at 104.17 to 105.20 at the high of the next bar at 1434 on the 20 min chart. Perfect entry for 100 ticks is always good. See for yourself.

For those who trade CL, Multiple Charts continue to prove successful. The 6 tick (m) and 377 tick charts work very well together and show the same entries as seen on the chart arrows.
Hope you are having success in whatever you trade.

You ask for it. So here it is. Simplified to the utmost. I will describe the trades on ES for 4/23 and 4/24 using no indicators below. Using only a 30 minute chart to keep it simple.
Go to the above entry and see just how simple my system truly is and how you can use it on any time frame and contract.
It can't get any easier than this. I hope everyone can now see just how good this is. You can't beat it.
Use a chart on which you prefer to trade and prove it will work for you. Let me know how well it works.
Good Trading.

I tried watching this for a while, just way too much going on for my taste, but keep up the good work.

I ran this as a test in the Elite section. Will you figure it out? No help from Elites.
A chart is a chart is a chart.
With no indicators and time reference and contract info on the chart, you should still often have an idea where the next price will be. If you just add a good divergence indicator, you should be able to predict several good trades during the day.
There is nothing to indicate contract, time, type of chart, etc.
It could be weekly, daily, etc.
Yet my system still works.
Imagine having the other indicators to help.

By the way, in all these trades shown, there was never an 8 tick stop hit.
Gotta love it.
Enjoy.

Later I will add the chart info and you will see.
