Thats what I tried, but it doesn't seem to be backfilling all of the data. Here is a 15m chart using @EU#C.

weird. Must be a MC DT issue then. I have just tried with MC 7beta3 and it works..

I am trying out IQ Feed on trial and am having similar problems.. I am only getting 1 week of tick data for @ES#. Wanted to do some testing this weekend but can't get data.

You should add instruments manually. It does not work properly when using the "lookup".

Choose Add symbol Manually. Then (as you know) IQFeed -> ex. @ES# -> Futures -> CME (NOT GLOBEX. It will figure that out by itself because of the "@"). Press ok and do not add any description. It will also do this automatically where Globex will be entered (at least i did so with beta 3).

After this it worked fine for me. Good luck

This I found in the MC forum. Could be useful to know:

When requesting BarsBack there are the following limitations (active even when the data is present in the base):
1. for the resolution higher than daily - there are no limitations.
2. for the daily resolution - 10 years.
3. for the rest of resolutions - 91 day
This limitation is needed in order to determine the last date to stop requesting data from the vendor.
There is no such limitation with "From To" request.
