CTP - your standard Zenfire data feed provides EUR/USD through the instrument 6E

Sign up for a demo with MB and theyll give you a free data feed for forex pairs . Get your username and password from MB , go to tools (on ninja) ----> account connections and follow the steps from there .

for downloading dukascopy data. Because of a silly limitation in this forum, I cannot post a link. It means I cannot contribute because I didn't contribute till now. This is my 3-rd post. Sorry for this junk.

Provider would be MB trading . Its not on the MB website but if you look at the ninja partners page (ninjatrader.com) MB is a broker supporting ninja . If you request a demo from MB they will give you a username and password . Call MB on the phone if its more convenient for you . Im using MB with ninja with minimal problems .

Ninja's servers store GAIN capital data in real time. You can access this for free. Google "free Ninja Forex data GAIN capital" or something like that and you'll get a NT forum thread with instructions how to sign up.

No that's over. They stopped that service also to sell their kinetick datafeed.

You could get a free account at dukascopy, when the trial expierence you are allowed to re-enter the same data for a new demo period, they don't mind if you do that like 100 times.

Use the DNT bridge to work (free for demo, no live trades) with ninjatrader and dukascopy, it works very good. Dukascopy Ninja Trader Bridge

Yes with Gain pulling out on the free provision I have migrated to NT7 and a mbt demo
This takes care of the historical data.

Suits my needs

Gain is a "low density" tick data. Compare them with Oanda or MBT data and you'll see. Of course, it may be enough for a longer range trading.

And you are a bit off-topic: you can't connect Ninja to Dukascopy datafeed, which is what the OP wants.

No, you cannot, however there is somebody who is trying to sell a bridge (300 usd) , even on this forum.
I understood, he asked EUR/USD data, not a R/T connection. I provided a way to get a high quality historical data.

I confirm either, that NT to MBT connection works well, on both NT 6.5 and NT7 beta.

The Gain data was pretty much useless anyway because it had market maker spreads, e.g. gy was 7 pips.

Is that bridge available for free also (unlimited trial), while in the Dukascopy demo mode?

From NT web site:

Dear GAIN Capital/FOREX.com (GAIN) NinjaTrader User:

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) recently issued final forex rules that become effective on October 18th, 2010. The impact of these rules is that GAIN can no longer compensate NinjaTrader, LLC on transactional volume generated by NinjaTrader clients. As a result, we are reluctantly being forced to change our business model as it relates to GAIN. As of October 18th, 2010, the following changes will take effect:
  • NinjaTrader will no longer be free for live trading at GAIN
  • The free real time and historical data demo account will no longer be available
