Time to look for a different broker, who's got the lowest margin and commissions?
I currently use Ninjatrader. There commissions and margin are better than IB by far but as I'm digging around (and there seem to be dozens of brokers all claiming the best rates, very confusing), I'm seeing that there's other brokers with even better rates. Tradovate seems too good to be true, is it? What about others?
I day trade futures and trying to cut costs. Who's got the best margin rates and commissions? I'll be switching from Ninjatrader as soon as I find one.
Thanks in advance
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Doesn't really matter much for day trading, I'd be open to any platform. I want to reduce commission costs. I'm paying 1.88 all in rate, per side, per contract. It's not terrible but I believe others are cheaper. Whats the reputation of Tradovate? Optimus? There's so many out there I'm hoping you guys can help me narrow them down to like 3 so I can decide.
At Cannon Trading we can match or beat any broker's rates because we clear through 6 different clearing options. Please PM us and we can provide more information

I don't think you are paying much, I think you already have good commissions.
Changing platform is quite a bit deal, also be careful about the datafeed.
If you used to Ninja you are used to a prebuilt solution. If you change paltform you will need to find a datafeed.
