Good morning traders. I need your help. I would choose a reliable broker for futures and possibly not change it. I'm demos with the ninja and their lifetime licenses are competitive and above all transparent. what do you think?

I did not understand though if I would be forced to use DORMAN or PHILIPS CAPITAL as their broker or I could even link it to Interactive Broker.
From the first readings it seems to me that IB is the most reliable as a broker. What's important in a broker? I come from forex so I'm a little in trouble.

Could it happen that the order is not executed? In this case am I in italy that I do? Who do I call? What are the other possible scenarios?

Coming from forex I used the mt4 to not tie the platforms of the various brokers and not be tied to them.

With the ninja I wanted to have the same independence even at the cost of paying $ 999 for the lifetime license. Is there someone who thinks of me like me? And then after buying you can have the right choice between compatible brokers or you are likely to be forced to ninja brokers? Who uses ninja brokers as he is? They are honest. What problems did you encounter?

Thank you all for your advice

Sorry Sass0g, I cannot help as I am not with NinjaTrader Brokerage. I clear through Dorman and I've never had an issue wth them, but I understand you want advice from people who have had experience with NT brokerage.

Hi Sass0g,

You can use a number of different brokers with NT, including IB. A few are listed here: https://ninjatraderecosystem.com/Brokers
If you have other brokers in mind, check out their websites to see if you can use NT.
If you use tick data and IB as your brokers, the advice is that their filtering of data can hinder your trading, and so it is advisable to use a different data provider - see post #3 of this thread.

Good Luck.

Is Ninjatrader the only platform you are interested in or are you also interested in trying some other platforms before making a decision.

Not saying Ninjatrader isn't a good platform, it is. It was my favorite as well until i tried some other ones, now i prefer Sierra Chart.

Also for me! I like sierra. But i have a problem. I use atr and the value (20 period atr) don't is equal between sierra and ninja. All my strategy is based on atr !? It's fondamentale to have indentic value for me.

That's weird, maybe one of the settings is different?
I like Sierra more since it is easier to use (in my opinion) and has much more adaptability (again, in my opinion).
Another advantage is when using Infinity futures as broker the platform is free if you do 10 round turns/month.

Can you post screenshots from both the settings in NinjaTrader and Sierra and the result on your chart?
Maybe someone can help you solve this issue.
