I thing the problem is this lock and exit.Auto log off is on 11:45PM my pc time is set on korean time which would be 10:45AMNew York time. I will change it to another hour and set autorestart. They should update NT8 IBKR connecntion guide with Lock and Exit

Here is the answer from NT support

Thank you for that additional information.

Unfortunately at this time these disconnects are expected.

If you change the setting to 'Auto Restart' instead of 'Auto Logoff,' your TWS will automatically reconnect. Unfortunately, NinjaTrader will require that you manually re-connect to Interactive Brokers when this occurs.

Our development team is actively working on a solution to this requirement.

The internal tracking number for this is NTEIGHT-14510.

When a fix implemented, you'll find a description of the new feature in the release notes:

I probably discovered another problem between NT8 and IB Gateway 978.1.it's in time when IBKR servers are restarted.
After restarting server when the connection between NT8 and IB Gateway is re-established there is no connection to the data farm.
You see that NT8 is connected to IB Gateway but not to data farm.After switching off the IB Gateway and restarting the IB gateway and connecting to the NT8, the connection will also be established with the data farm too.I am connected to the hdc1.ibllc.com i will see tonight if this happend again.

I don't have this problem with market data/historical data farm.
From what I know this(ese) farm(s) will stay inactive until you ask for some real time data/historical data, that's the normal behavior.
I'm not sure Ninja support has to be involved here: if the link between Ninja and IB GW works their job is done.

But the problem when market in asia open no data is comming. Before upgrading IB gateway. When NT re-establish connection to IB Gateway i was connected also to data farm end historical farm. As yesterday There was no connection to data farm. I must restart IB gateway and then I háve connection to data farm but no connection to historical farm

Hi,
my IBKR account is set on IBKR HK server (hdc1.ibllc.com). Have VPS by (Kamatera) Equinix HKDC1.IBKR should have I am not 100% sure server on Equinix HKDC3. Somehow I was not interested in those disconnections between NT8+IBGateway+IBKR server (data collection from the KRX exchange only) until we switched to the previous version of IB Gateway, which could be used until 18.7.2023 and by this IBGateway version there was NO disconnetion between NT8-IBGateway+IBKR server during full trading hours. After updating to new version (IB Gateway 10.23.2a) it started again. On friday have 6 disconnection
1 was 3sec
2.was 3min46sec
3.was 1min44sec
4.was 4sec
5.was 57sec
Today 3 disconnection
1.was 48sec
2.was 1 min
3 was 15sec
I conatcted NT support they told me to do this
• Restart NinjaTrader
• Restart your modem and (if applicable) router
• Restart your PC/server
• Clear your DNS
• Ensure exceptions have been added into any firewall/antivirus/backup programs for the Documents > "NinjaTrader 8" folder.
• Ensure that your computer is not turning off your Network Adapter to conserve power: I do everything and I set my server to High perfomance.
But there is still problem. What else can i do.I would like to know if others have similar problems
