While my trading in NJT Brokerage has been limited in the past 6 months, I'm totally satisfied with the execution of trades and accurate reports. I've been with them for many years, but I trade a small account, so I don't have large trades. I do trade hundreds of trades per week in my evaluation accounts (obliviously not NJT brokerage) with multiple prop firms and have no problems. I've heard of others having problems, but I can't speak to their facts.
No I completely understand that I think we're all guilty of this at some point I guess,
I really like how clean and easy the charting is to see, it's perfect for me, the ability to add opacity to lines and MA's also love it, it's difficult to give up to be honest hence the post, I really want to stay with them for that charting which is why I've been posting and troubleshooting for so many years but I'm not sure it would be a wise move to trade through there broker but maybe someone here will convince me who knows, I purchased an NT IB license back in the day and didn't go Multi broker until 2016 just to make sure I had it but missed the boat to be able to trade futures now with anyone but NT or IB.
I'm really considering going back to Multicharts, I contacted them to ask if by any chance they may be updating there charting as the standard package wouldn't suffice, they asked me what I would like the charting to look like, she kind of pressed me to get into detail of what would work, unbeknown to me they took a couple of days and made a patch which I've just applied and it's a completely different charting package now.
I have to say if anyone is looking for a charting package with the absolute best customer service I've had from any company anywhere in any industry Multicharts is it, Not just now they we're the same over 10 years ago. Credit given where credit is due.
I might have to have both platforms up with IB to always have a backup, but was hoping to utilize Day trading margins if it's not to risky.
I'd still like to hear of peoples experiences with NT though as I don't know if I'll ever be able to beat the chart setup I have going now.
Yes they sure have been hard at it a lot has changed recently, hopefully the management team will take the time to actually really listen it's users I still believe it has the potential to be a really great platform and possibly broker too, maybe with new management
I personally have been holding out for that day for such a long time now, I might need a break for a while and pick it back up again in the future
Thanks for the info great to hear you've been having a good experience there with good fills etc, there are good reviews, bad reviews I guess it depends on the individual, I am hopeful and may still look to have a go and see how it pans out, can always leave and go elsewhere if it doesn't work out.
2 years now at NT and found the fills were excellent on ES and NQ. Only outage more than a few seconds I had were with my own internet. Customer Service for Platform or Accounts was inconsistent. In that sometimes I received very accurate fast response for platform question in email the next day, other times several days but always got some response. A question about Commissions on my statement I never got a response to by email. Small issue so I let it go. Seems sometimes I can get customer service by phone and other times just referred to email. Trade Desk has a different phone number for emergency with a trade but I have never had to use it.
Overall I am satisfied. I love their user friendly chart trader platform.
There are occasional problems with their connection, but they have been very occasional, and no worse than any other broker I've had an account with. Their live execution seems particularly fast to me. I have not had any problems with the way trades have ran. I have not had any margin increases while in a trade. Nothing strange. Of course, from my viewpoint, if your account is so small you are getting margin calls from a small margin increase, you are taking far too much risk for your account size, and are likely to soon break your account. Overall, I have thought this brokerage is very good.
I traded with NT Brokerage a little back in 2014-2015 but used AMP primarily at the time. I had no problems at all with them, but that was with Dorman.
I just funded a new account with NT but have not traded yet. Time will tell.
BTW, I have been using NT since ver 6.X in 2008. I am using v 8.0.26.1 now and have not as yet upgraded to v 8.1. I plan to wait until the bugs are worked out with revisions.
My overall opinion on NT is I love it. I suppose thats why I have been using it for 15 years!
