Hello, I am new on here. Any help most appreciated. Wondering about traders' views for data providers on Russell 2000 emini and Russell 2000 index for Ninjatrader. I know there are three choices, Barchart, eSignal, or IQFeed. Which is best for intraday trading?

My first choice is Kinetick but unfortunately it does not support ICE so my second choice is IQFeed. They are a great partner to NinjaTrader and we have a strong working relationship.

I would chose Kinetick as well
Too bad they do not provide the ICEUS exchange required for your TF future contract.
But I believe you can receive the Russell index, by subscribing to the specific package at an additional 11 USD per month

Either case, second choice goes to IQFeed.
I've tried them before, same servers as Kinetick, a bit more expensive, but allows you to subscribe to the ICEUS exchange.

Careful with their IQFeed client software; it has to sit in between ninjatrader and their servers; it should run in the background, and be active for your NT7 to connect to it... but I've personally ran into many disconnection issues on windows XP and windows 7 due to newer versions being incompatible with NT7 and the older version (the one that is compatible with NT7) not supporting the CME Waiver program at that time.

I bet they've solved the problem by now, that was like a year ago... but just worth checking during your trial period before you commit

Successful people will do what unsuccessful people won't or can't do!
