They were very helpful with answering my questions. The only thing I didn't like was they said their CQG data was filtered. Not sure if that's a problem or not.
I keep seeing these advertisements for unfiltered data.....
Isn't the whole point of filtering the data to ensure that a rogue/erroneous data point won't ruin your day? If you have a stop in place and a bad piece of data comes in, that exceeds …
Briefly, filtered generally means lower accuracy "snapshot" data that is "pulsed" to you instead of delivered on every tick. If you are trading using 1-minute charts or higher time based resolution, you likely won't care. If you are using any sort of tick based chart like range, renko, volume, tick or other exotic chart styles, you will want unfiltered data.

They told me they clear RCG, KCG and Cunningham as well when they contacted me to try and advertise on futures.io (formerly BMT). That conversation was made public when Global Futures forwarded it to AMP, and then AMP included it as part of the documents and exhibits in their lawsuit against futures.io (formerly BMT).
This is a public notice that AMP GLOBAL CLEARING aka AMP FUTURES TRADING has filed a lawsuit against futures.io (formerly BMT) regarding posts on futures.io (formerly BMT). This is not the first time AMP TRADING has used attorneys in an attempt to manipulate …
I hope everyone does their due diligence regarding their broker and their clearing partners before funding an account.
I'm sorry I keep editing this, I guess I'm just confused.
I assume they contacted you before the lawsuit to advertise and you turned them down and then they went and forwarded the conversation to amp after they found out about the lawsuit?
The reason I say that is because it doesn't make sense that they'd contact you after the lawsuit unless they were completely unaware considering they clear through amp.

It is my hope that people are reading the documents and coming to their own conclusions.
Crap, just opened an account with them. Canceling now. I'm just gonna wait for Stage 5 to get Ninja. Thanks for the heads up.
I knew they cleared through AMP but I thought having a person between might provide better customer service, as Global has been very good over the phone. But I don't trust a business that can't keep good books.
