Hey guys which broker is best for daytrading ES? I know Mirus offers leverage of $500 per contract for intraday, thats an awesome amount of leverage. Any other recommendations for speed as well as leverage? Will be used with Ninjatrader.

Leverage over the long run is nothing.
More important is spread/slippage and roundturn costs.
Compare.

Leverage wouldn't be my first criteria to chose a broker either... I'd better look at cost/commission of course, slippage, speed and accuracy of execution, but most important also is how strong the broker is, and how stable he is financially speaking.
I definitely do not wish to fall into another MF Global story and loose all my account!
Of course there will never be 100% guarantees, but you get the point

Good luck in your quest, and do not forget to check the tutorials and guides Big Mike did on this.

Well, in my opinion, if you want to take very large risks intraday, leverage would be a factor.

Mirus is $500 per contract intraday
IB is $2300 per contract intraday.

Big difference! So you could get 20 contracts for Mirus with 10k and only 4 with IB.

If you have 10k in my opinion you should be trading at most 1x ES contract, but that's another issue...
