Opening a broker account with no trading experience
After some time spent trading with market data, I now want to open a brokerage account to trade ES futures.
I am using NinjaTrader for charting and plan to get a datafeed from Kinetick ($50/month).
When I went to open an account with Interactive Brokers, I had to declare that I had over 100 trades! This blocks new traders from opening an account.
Can anyone recommend a brokerage with reasonable commisions for the ES which caters to new traders?
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
If you're going to be trading the ES with Kinetick you're going to have to pay 100 a month; 50 for base 30 for the CME ES instrument and 20 for market depth. Just wanted to give you a little heads up on that. Try Mirus futures.
Stage Five Trading was my choice as a new trader. Good rates with mentorship that caters to new traders. Mirus also seems to be a good choice (I have no direct experience with them) from my research.
For your information, once your account with Mirus is funded, you will qualify for Globex Exchange Fee Waivers for CBOT, CME, COMEX and NYMEX. You won't have to pay the exchange fee for CME mini (or the other exchanges mentioned).
