Historical data is not good for reference.

Actually, if you are papertrading, Market Replay data is very good for reference. Just do not look at the live chart or yesterday's close and replay the previous day's data at 1x speed (or faster) and you have an excellent resource.

If you have no knowledge of what happened to the market, then yesterday's data is not really historical to your papertrading situation.

And if you download earlier days/weeks/months data, you are unlikely to know what happened on a minute by minute basis and can papertrade using Market Replay for as long as you wish.

should be able to do it with AMP futures
(and I think maybe Mirus futures, too)

They don't have it for papertrading.

Not sure if these guys r any good, but seem to support Ninjatrader

Bund (FGBL) Commissions | Velocity Futures

They do have it, but I'm missing 1,5hours of data from the morning. What the hell.

I can't replay news feed, can I. Thanks anyway, this is what I will do, if NO broker is willing to provide papertrading on the bund.

Just go to forexfactory.com and grab the news release info, usually much the same times each day/week. They cover all relevant news, Europe included.

Good luck. I enjoy Market Replay of the ES every day, from when I need to sleep - 12 hours ahead of New York. Also looking into Bund myself in future and will use Market Replay to review market before forking out the Kinetick Eurex fees to trade it.

Hi George,

Ninja Trader with a TT datafeed offers NO historical data. You will only see data from the moment you log in.

I have tried Mirus. For some reason I don't get live data on EUREX, I can trade the ES, but FGBL won't update or let me place a trade.

Sincerely,

George.

Hi George,

If you've placed a check mark next to the 'Demo' box when creating your connection, Eurex will be disabled. Create a new connection with the same login credentials which should resolve your issue.

If you continue to have trouble, please take advantage of our Live Support.

Yeah, this solved the problem. Thanks!

Btw can I papertrade more than 30 days at Mirus? I'm willing to pay for the datafeed if I have to.

You are able to papertrade longer than 30 days through a funded account at Mirus, however, the demo is limited to 30 days. ZenFire is only made available through brokerage accounts beyond this time period as it is not a data vendor and subsequently data from ZenFire cannot be leased or purchased. Feel free to reach out to info@mirusfutures.com for information on opening an account with Mirus.
