Usually "free" and "tick data" are not found in the same sentence.

I just thought of an option for you though. If you are content to get the NEXT 14 days of tick data, you can simply go to the CME's page for CL, go to the Time and Sales tab, and you will find all tick data for the last 24 hours. You can select it per hour, copy the table into excel, and compile your 14 days one day at a time.

Hi Josh,

I managed to download the data but it is in .CSV format, do you know how to cover to .txt format
so I can load into Multichart.

Hi Josh,

Well, CSV is just comma separate values in plain text format usually. You need to find out what format MC wants, and make sure your data aligns with it. Open the CSV in excel. Then see if you can save it in excel if it requires additional changes. If you post portions of the file here along with a sample of a file MC will accept, perhaps someone can help.
