The IB CFDs are only for the DAX30 shares at the moment, not the index.
For longer term trading maybe the EXS1 ETF (similar to US SPY or QQQ) is a solution.
Likewise same deal $2.5k margin per contract..
I don't believe there is anything better... without sacrificing the real market..
ie- ig markets or any other cfd provider etc... which obviously is no good for us Ninja boys
Hello,
For sure you need to consider a broker offering CFD's as there is no Mini-Dax future on the Eurex. In the US CFDs not an approved type of contract by the CFTC, but in UK/Europe there are plenty of brokers offering this contract.
Bear in mind that CFDs are mostly OTC, so while you will benefit from the smaller size your execution will be affected by spread and all the crap happening in the retail OTC. I would rather consider trading the future instead.
