There have been more frequent updates lately adding new tools and redesigning old tools , so they seem to be working away at adding advanced tools

also it comes with api examples in the install , I have not tried them yet but seems friendly to do so....

I can honestly say that having used the sim version for about 4 or 5 months , I have not seen one error that was caused by the software
