Is anyone using this for EOD data? How is it working out? I heard it is free.

Why don't you simply try and find out, you just need to connect.

I think that the EOD data of Kinetick is high quality data. It has the settlement price - not the close - for all futures contracts including both individual contract months and continuous futures contracts. I use it since about a year and it has been very reliable.

I have had a single issue on March 31st, when the settlement price of YM, which - only for the last business day of the month - is calculated as the fair value from the DJIA index, came out below the low of the day. NinjaTrader did not except that close value below the low of the day, so I had to enter the values manually. But this is a very special case that happens once and then, when the close is near the low of the day on the last business day of the month.

I rate the Kinetick EOD data as excellent. I do not think you will easily find any better.

If you do a search for Kinetick, you will find a lot of info. Top right where it says "search", type in kinetick.

Anyone using the live data with Kinetic with Ninja. Am using now Rithmec but finding that the data is batching, meaning nothing happens on the charts and then all of a sudden, it spits out 5 to 10 bars in a bunch, and not because market is fast, will do it even when markets slow.

Thanks Rcabri, I am assuming you are using the real live data with Kinetic, not the end of day data.
