I would like to know if someone is using Dorman trading with the QST (Quick screen trading) software. What is the trading engine behind QST (Zenfire, TT or other?).
Thank you

Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
I used QST in a sim acct. for a while and I liked the charts. Trading from the charts was extremely intuitive, and though it had a few little niggling glitches, they were nothing serious.
By default QST clears through Rolf Nolan' Ran gateway, which is not known for speed. Even my contact at Dorman admitted that it would not be fast enough for short term trading.
QST can also connect to TT via the TT fix connection and Velocity Futures has QST with that connection, but I haven't traded with it.
If you go to the QuickScreenTrading site, I believe you can sign up for a free trial.
Some interesting things about QST, that I have shared via this screen.
Nice DOM display along with prebuilt quotes for all the futures categories.
SIM and Live Account tracking side by side. Charts with all the technical indicators.
This runs on CQG data feed which has been very stable.
This platform also available in a web browser format and has a live tech support functionality.
I would recommend this platform in particular for those who are swing traders and end of day traders, but all can use it.

Yes, I run QST on my MAC as well.
Like I said this is for swing and longer term positions.
This is the better ones for a "Plain Vanilla" trader.

You are correct. They do have their own data feed.
We just use CQG for order routing.
I appreciate your due diligence.
