dorman is an excellent company creating happy customers. unfortunately their commissions are very high. their fees/coms are 4.64 rt all in. that is one of the most expensive offers i got. the cheapest was futuresbroker at 3.82 rt all in:
always ask for monthly fees, some have it posted at their website, some companies sneak it in after you become a customer. monthly fees can come disguised as software fees or as inactivity fees. future brokers can be very creative when it comes to inventing new fees.
most futuresbrokers will even charge for moving your own money which i find absurd.
qst is the best trading software in my opinion. i use it for daytrading setting trailing stop limit exits or oco trail limit contingency orders. once you get used to the platform you can trade very fast.
what is more important for me is stability, cost and the choice to run it on linux. qst is java based and runs on almost any platform even on mobile.
