My experience with Optimus has been positive. Matt Zimberg understands the realities of trading and provides many relevant ideas for traders.
Best of all they have excellent tech support for the NT platform. If you're looking for a [new] broker Optimus is worth a look.

At this time and age it is refreshing to see a brokerage firm that actually makes an effort to add value to the trading platforms they work with and do this on their own expense. I am very happy to see that Optimus respect their customers' right to choose and offer thorough instructions, support and extra value for all the Platforms they work with.

This is a very welcome initiative. I am a big fan of Sierra Chart and I think that the graphics are one of the areas that can really benefit from a designer touch.
Matt/John, are you also planning to improve the design of the Sierra Chart Trade Window buttons ?
This is definitely a possibility. So far we have received really good feedback on the current design, so we are on the right track.
We will do our best to enhance our customers experience with the current platforms which will include pricing as well.
Optimus is also working on new projects which we will announce here.

Trading Support for Futures Traders in Spanish.
Optimus trading group has recorded a large number of Videos in the Spanish language and will cover a large number of platforms in the upcoming weeks. We have started with SierraChart and soon will cover MultiCharts, R Trader, etc
Additionally, we have stated our Spanish support desk and will via email and/or Skype for overseas calls. Our tech support in Spanish will be headed by someone with extensive trading and programming experience. There is a substantial risk of loss in futures trading and is not suitable for all investors.

As of Sep 1, 2014 Optimus to the end of Dec 2014 will provide R-Trader PRO free of charge to its users.
(Inactivity fee of $10 will apply if less than 20RTs are traded a month. This will be charged quarterly)
R Trader Pro is a platform created directly by Rithmic, LLC to provide charting, order entry, order automation, and more for Rithmic’s low-latency high throughput order routing gateways:
-Server-side OCO (One Cancels Other) functionality
-Easy to use charting with time, range, tick, and volume bars
-Rich Excel integration:
-Perform calculations on incoming quotes
-Build fully-automated trading strategies using Excel formulas
-Pre-made futures strategies, such as calendar spreads, that are already defined for quick order entry
-Options on Futures support
-Ability to trade from the chart
-Time based execution (specify time to close position or initiate positions)
-Live streaming Spreadsheet
-Variety of Gateway option for better connectivity
-Can work in conjunction with Sierra, Multi and Market Delta while accessing the same account if Rithmic data is used.
-Can serve as a back up to your primary platform (if you use the Rithmic) feed
