Hello @ smalltrader35,

Yes, we allow multiple connections to your Rithmic account via one account or sub accounts.
You have to check with Ninja how many machines you can run at the same time.

Matt

This is an excellent question. Is this also possible with Continuum and NT?

Yes it is. We can create control accounts (also called block accounts) with underlying sub accounts under any feed we create.

i have opened an account with Optimus. I could say that they are excellent in assisting me in opening an account with Vision (which is the clearing firm). I have just started trading for a couple of days and so far so good. Trade execution with the R|Trader is great. Support responds to email (haven't tried calling them yet) which is good. Thanks Matt!

@mattz: Due to the new brokerage thru ninjatrader, many things are in blur for me. As i understand then optimus can't open new rithmic accounts for ninjatrader Plattform in the future. I think that has an major impact in your business. Are they any Deadlines and what i have to do to fullfil the Deadline requirements (to open a new account quickly)? But i'm concerned because if i can't open any further accounts at optimus then i'm riding a dead horse.

Why the rithmic feed is bundled with AMP and NinjaTrader only? I know that the ZenFire/BigTick/Continuum feed was closely related to Mirus, but why can NinjaTrader expel all other rithmic brokerages so easily?

Thanks Koepisch

The way I read the ninjatrader FAQ is that they would still support multiple brokerages....what would be the point of them selling a multibrokerage license ? A change like that would imact ninjas business in a negative way. If I am wrong then I would like to hear someone in the know chime in.

"Among the benefits of the deal, NinjaTrader is promoting to futures traders that it will be providing its platform with industry-leading low commissions. While the offering becomes a compelling choice for traders, the brokerage launch can be viewed as a risky move as it now puts them in direct competition with their broker partners. In addition, while NinjaTrader has stated it will continue to be available through other brokers, their website encourages existing users of their platform to review their new brokerage offering and potentially make a switch. However, after growing its share in the futures market, NinjaTrader apparently feels the launch of a brokerage will allow them to leverage their popularity, taking the company to the proverbial ‘next step’."

You have until the 15th to open an account with us. You can do so by going to our link here:

We do have new comers who are doing it now.

For the most part I am puzzled as to why a broker like us is excluded. You would think that the way we accommodated and helped over the years in number of critical scenario, we would be a given a chance. At the very least an opportunity to leave an open door to guys like us who don't look at customers like inventory and take the time to learn the technology we support. We did not have the "Call NinjaTrader..." instead we tried to fix anything ourselves.

I will refrain saying anything negative about NinjaTrader despite the fact that they are actively solicit now every Ninja customer I have. Many years we enjoyed a mutually good relationship, good rapport that resulted in helping many customers together. I am truly grateful for that. It's not the owners who make the operation run smoothly rather the guys inside, and Ninja sure knows how to pick great guys:Ryan, Bret, Wesley and others that I enjoyed interacting over the years. They will become part of the new NinjaTrader structure and I wish them nothing but the best. If you guys read it, I am VERY grateful to you.

We will continue servicing NinjaTrader guys like we have done so in past. Optimus is now exploring and getting feedback from customers what would be a good choice(S) of platform(S) to work and support. Although many don't enjoy the same benefits of being as popular and/or marketing exposure, they still offer good feature that could appeal to many traders. Luckily, you have choices and you can explore many options that are best for you. We will be making an announcement to our customers about the new technologies and new relationships Optimus is striving to establish.

I wish you all Happy 4th of July!

Sincerely,
Matt

Atleast the good thing for the consumer is the competative all inclusive roundturn pricing they are offering. Other brokers will need to match if they want to stay in business. Also in the big mike webinar they mentioned they will still support rithmic if you request along with continum cqg as default. In the webinar the cool thing about rithimic i though was theres no extra fees for using eurex or anything transaction stuff which is cool.

hope all is well with everyone

happy 4th

We are not going to enter the “Commissions War”. Period! We have always provided our customers with very reasonable commissions the minute we entered the game of discount and online trading. Those who provided what we consider almost breakeven prices have either gone out of business and/or turned from FCM’s to IBs, IIBs to GIBs or a similar path of self-destruction – all in the name of “lowest commissions”. Our inspiration does not come from those brokers that just offer the lowest prices but rather those that have constantly evolved in the industry by introducing new technology while maintaining and growing their client base.
