Just as long as he doesn't burn himself out with all this fantastic customer service, and has some discretion about time wasters it'll all be good haha

Top Shelf People

Matt and Jennifer from Optimus are VERY professional. From the beginning, Matt worked hard at making sure my account was setup as I wanted. Even when there was a slight issue with Vision Financial, they contacted them to quickly resolve the issue. Jennifer has been extremely courteous and forthright with all her communication with me. Over my trading history, I have had accounts with 6 different brokers and Optimus ranks at the top of my list. I highly recommend you look at their firm if you are looking for a broker. Not to mention that their commission structure is very competitive.

Thanks Optimus Trading Group

hmmm i love optimus, matt took care of almost everything for me the other little things i had to do from my end but anything from their end that needed done they did without even missing a beat.matt lets me do things at my pace witch is slow as i have a busy life and a full plate most of the time.if i have any questions matt answers them right then or call's vision and 3 ways with me untill i understand what is going on.he even set up my account so i can trade the time that i need to trade with the margins that i want not the margins he wants.i have funded my account and got all my data and set up my ninja already but no time to trade that account right this min.he even offered to get me a license key from ninja but i bought it instead.hes a great guy and will talk to you for hrs about life or trading whatever you need.overall he has been perfect so far,i could say alot more but its personal stuff between him and i...sharky

Yes. there is a portal that we provide that had all the necessary details:
Daily Equity Runs, Month To Date Commissions, Open Futures, Open Options, Options Expiration Report, Last Trading Day Report, Futures Trade Prelim, Option Trade Prelim, etc

PM with any questions about optimusfutures (800) 771-6748 (561) 367 8686. THERE IS A SUBSTANTIAL RISK OF LOSS IN FUTURES TRADING.

Moved my Account to Optimus

Recently moved my account to Optimus.

I was using NT with a zenfire feed but started getting alot of disconnects with zenfire. I have no idea why as at one time I hardly ever got any disconnects. I wanted to try rithmic so started looking for a broker. I realize zenfire is a repackaged rithmic. But my understanding is zenfire has its own servers so you are beholden to the servers they use. Since switching to rithmic feed I have not gotten any disconnects. I also cannot prove this but just watching the "rithmic" feed just seems smoother but have no empirical evidence to back it up.

As far as Optimus goes like others have said Matt is very attentive and takes time to talk to his customers. He also set me up on r trader which I will not use to execute orders since I have an auto trade strategy I use with Ninjatrader. But it is very nice that any trade in Ninja can be viewed at the same time in r trader. Where this helps me is if I my system executes an autotrade it will send me a text alert. If I am across town in a coffee shop and get the text I can open r trader on my laptop to watch my position that was executed back home in NT. If I tried to open another instance of NT on another machine using same account would cause problems. So it is really nice r-trader mirrors trades taken in NT and can be open at same time on another machine. This gives me some added protection if I need to be away from my trading machine.

Also dealing with Vision Financial the clearing firm Optimus uses has gone smooth as well. It is very important to me I am comfortable with the clearing firm since that is where your money sits. Vision seems to have their act together.

So in summary I am very satisfied with the opening process with Optimus and the use of rithmic so far.

Does Optimus provide an online chat service for quick help situations such as tech support (not order desk issues)?

We honestly prefer to handle all situation by phone, even if the smallest of technical or any help issue.
That way the customer could be specific and we can even do remote assistance if needed.
You could see support button on our site at the top of the page and this is where we provide remote access for more complex tech support. If someone is overseas and does not want to incur phone charges we could do Skype calls. (we provide that to clients).

However, online chat is not a bad idea for initial consultation so could implement that.
I appreciate the question.
