To correct what I said yesterday: TopstepTrader e-mailed me yesterday that they no longer offer "Practice Trading Subscriptions", but today on the phone they said they do offer a sort of "practice account", but you need to purchase a combine to get it; if you hit your daily-loss-limit, you can just wait until the next day for it to be back to usual.

I'd like to say it was a pleasure speaking with Matt today from Optimus Futures. I had some questions about starting a fund, and even though he knew I probably wasn't ready to trade live, Matt went above and beyond by speaking with me and listing some good options to consider.
He was generous with his time, on email and the phone, answering questions from someone who hasn't traded live in over a decade, and I definitely won't forget the helping-hand. He was very knowledgeable and friendly, and Optimus and the BMT/FIO community are lucky to have him here. I'd like to say "Thank You", and will be asking for more help from him later this year when I "go live" again. Maybe someday I can repay the favour to others just starting-out with wild dreams in their eyes.

Thank you for your time as well. I enjoy giving traders options and let them decide what is best for them.
I find that traders could make intelligent decisions if they are aware of all their avenues.

I wanted to drop the first of two notes thanking Matt and Optimus. After a long time of soul searching and research, I am finally very pleased with Optimus options offered as an Introducing broker especially Matt's patience, knowledge, direct interactive and willingness to work with serious traders small or large. Reason there will be a second part is to inform everyone how my account opening process finished - i have just started.
I am consolidating my IRA accounts and wanted the right broker to help with the right FCM and platform and understand my situation with the right commissions. I think I have found all that and more at Optimus.
You may ask how do u know? u dont even have an account yet.. well i have accounts with IB, TOS, Amp, and other IRA accounts and have over researched tools, FCMs for options/spreads, SPAN margins, commissions, and customer service that i get..

I wanted to report on my initial experience with Optimus Futures. After trading with a different firm for a number of years, I recently opened an account with Optimus. Matt was very helpful in providing suggestions for the best FCM, routing, and trading platform after reviewing my needs and trading style. The entire team was very responsive and helpful. They were able to help me from initial conversation on Monday evening to fully funded and tradable account by Thursday evening - a turnaround time of less than 3 days from initial contact! In particular, Cassie was very helpful with the account opening process. So far, my experience with Optimus Futures has been excellent. They have been knowledgeable, professional and friendly. They have helped me set up each of the trading components to my preferences and I've been able to get them on the phone whenever needed.
