Welcome to futures.io.

Welcome, Guest!

This forum was established to help traders (especially futures traders) by openly sharing indicators, strategies, methods, trading journals and discussing the psychology of trading.

We are fundamentally different than most other trading forums:
  • We work extremely hard to keep things positive on our forums.
  • We do not tolerate rude behavior, trolling, or vendor advertising in posts.
  • We firmly believe in openness and encourage sharing. The holy grail is within you, it is not something tangible you can download.
  • We expect our members to participate and become a part of the community. Help yourself by helping others.

You'll need to register in order to view the content of the threads and start contributing to our community. It's free and simple, and we will never resell your private information.

Thanks Matt.

Hi Matt,

I just wanted to thank you for taking the time to chat with me today. Being an inquisitive novice trader I really find it inspiring and educational to have someone who is knowledgeable and transparent spend the amount of time that you spent with me today. I now have a much better understanding regarding the finer points of data feeds and a deeper understanding in the importance of having a solid consistent trading plan. The fact that you seemed more concerned about me and how I define my trading style meant a lot. YEsss very professional and accomadating this one was!

I really got the feeling after our chat and after reviewing your companies website that OPTIMUS FUTURES rest its laurels upon the survival and success of its customers. Over the next few days I am going to make time to review the links that you sent me and I also plan to watch your webinar here on BIG MIKE's.

After the holidays I am going to sample the Sierra chart DEMO and see what i think of it.
I must say that I am a bit hesitant as there is a monthly charge to facilitate SIERRA, but none the less i will try it out. I know I have read a lot of good things about it on this forum and elsewhere.

I like the fact that you support NINJA, as well as other platform options that your company offers. I have been shopping around for a broker for the past few months. In the sea of advertisments I overlooked OPTIMUS, but I'm glad that I discovered you (Thank BIG MIKE for that!) , as OPTIMUS is now at the top of my list.

Have a good holiday!

Ontario Residents

Is Optimus still accepting Ontario residents?

Ninja Brokerage appears to not be accepting any Canadians.

We are working on relationships that would allow it, once available we will make it public.
Thank you for your patience.

Just My $.02 About Optimus

Futures Edge on FIO

Are you a NinjaTrader user?

Howdy All,
I know that Iím not the first to say good things about this team, but everything Iíve read is true. My day job keeps me really busy, and Iíve needed to rely on the folks at Optimus to get things done for me, efficiently and rather quickly. They have always followed up on requests, while keeping me posted along the way about their progress. Iím glad I made the switch to these guys from my previous broker. Matt, you run a good show so keep it up and lots of success!

hi

Congrats Matt also on the new website and new offerings !
The website is great with access to all kinds of important info a trader needs to make an informed decision about opening an account.

I like the section where you can figure out the cost and commissions for trading. Very ingenious !

I also like the section about autotrading. It is the best autotrading portal I have found to date. Excellent work !

I have been with AMP for years and I am glad to see you will work with them in the future.

Best wishes with the new site and I look for ward to using your forums as well.

Nice work!

sincerely,

Shane

Optimus Futures New Site

@tturner86 @shanemcdonald28

Thank you for the kind words.
This site was a tremendous effort from my team mates and I to create a site that offers complete transparency as far as prices, options and performance (where applied). Most of inspiration for this site were industries that have nothing to do trading, rather it was technology, customer service software, and other services that where both customers and potential customers have access to everything. We saw lots of free stuff given to customers, and we followed the same path by providing a multitude of free platforms to customers.

Part of the research for the new site was comprised of people who traded for many years, and the factors that were very important to them. Their view of brokerage, platforms and other services was priceless, and gave us a good insight of the evolving needs in our trading industry.

Thank you for your ongoing support and the positive feedback.
