Welcome to futures.io.

Welcome, Guest!

This forum was established to help traders (especially futures traders) by openly sharing indicators, strategies, methods, trading journals and discussing the psychology of trading.

We are fundamentally different than most other trading forums:
  • We work extremely hard to keep things positive on our forums.
  • We do not tolerate rude behavior, trolling, or vendor advertising in posts.
  • We firmly believe in openness and encourage sharing. The holy grail is within you, it is not something tangible you can download.
  • We expect our members to participate and become a part of the community. Help yourself by helping others.

You'll need to register in order to view the content of the threads and start contributing to our community. It's free and simple, and we will never resell your private information.

Sounds like a very good outcome. Large, stable firm, publicly traded, and between their "original" business and whatever offices and exchange memberships they've picked up along the way, their breadth of offerings is probably second to none.

Will we continue to have Rithmic as the data feed?

Trading Platforms | ADM Investor Services

Looking here, it looks like the options are CQG and TT?

Think big, think positive, never show any sign of weakness. Always go for the throat. Buy low, sell high. Fear? That's the other guy's problem. In this building, it's either kill or be killed. You make no friends in the pits and you take no prisoners. One minute you're up half a million in soybeans and the next, boom, your kids don't go to college and they've repossessed your Bentley. Are you with me?

Of course you will! I try to be very proactive with every FCM that I deal with .
So far the guys I gained contact with have been most accommodating and patient.
Although we appreciate the customer service that FCMs provide, we will do our best to be self sufficienct and help customers ourselves...this is after all what we are known for.

Thanks for the question!

Rithmic Demos

Futures Edge on FIO

Are you a NinjaTrader user?

Hello Guys, This is just a short update.
Optimus tech team along with Rithmic was able to transfer the Rithmic CME Non professional certification for the demo users to an online form. This means that you no longer need to download the R Trader platform if you wish to get a demo of a specific platform.

Shortly we will incorporate the links into our forms to provide demo users with a quick and easy non-professional CME certification.

Today was another reminder how fortunate I am to trade through Optimus. I had a minor connectivity issue with some Platforms I've been trying out..
Matt took my call and walked me through things and didn't get off the phone untill I was up and running. He really went out of his way to make sure I had everything working perfectly...In addition, he e-mailed me back later to make sure everything was still Ok.

Thanks for your help today, Matt.

We still support NinjaTrader customers who have stayed with us, however we might have chosen
to replace some links with other platforms we support as we can not acquire new customers (unless they bought the license before July 15, 2015).

You may consider adding also SierraChart as we added features that are unique to us like server side OCO, historical charts and NYSE tick, advance/decline etc all for $27.5 per month.

If you prefer to continue trading on your platform, we would continue to support you on that as we respect your preferences.

Starting on December 2015, Optimus Trading Group will be moving to a new Futures Commission Merchant (FCM), ADM Investor Services (ADMIS). (Switching from Vision Financial Search Results)

Since ADMIS does not currently support Canadian customers, AMP Clearing will be taking on Optimus Trading Group's Canadian customers.

Here's ADMIS's National Futures Association (NFA) page: Search Results

Suddenly ADMIS does not support German customers ???

I was aware that Optimus is moving to a new FCM, starting on Dec 2014, and that ADMIS the new FCM is not supporting Canadian customers.

What I didn't know is that they seem not to accept German customers as well as I got informed about that yesterday from Optimus. Urgent action is now required as soon as possibly as they want me to move to AMP Clearing.

I find it odd to get informend so short before a deadline. Wonder if there are any german traders in the same boat and if there are any other options ?

I had moved my account from Mirus to Optimus in Jan this year and was happy not having any issues so far...
