I use Mirus/Zen-Fire; when I connect from a second machine it bounces my first connection off. Is this a permission you had to arrange through Mirus or do I have a problem in my configuration? Thanks.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
My Mirus account can be set so that live trades show up on both computers running NT7.
Only works this way for real $$$-live trades, not sim or replay. But when trading multiple markets it was very easy to follow all open potions at a glance on my DOM computer. Will be trying this for the 1st time next week using beta 18. As I have only done one beta 18 live trade so far.

How are you able to connect to the same Mirus account on 2 different instances of NT? Are you using 2 different logins for the same account? I actually was in the process of opening an account with Mirus (clearing thru RCG) last week but decided to not go ahead after being told that my only option for backup account access was WebTrader (which is still in beta) .
I asked my broker for a 2nd login in my capacity as a beta tester for NinjaTrader. Wanted to chart on NT7 and trade on 6.5. It went from there.
One day, when I was stuck in the clinic, got an email that a new version of NT7beta was available. Downloaded it to my laptop and made a live trade.
Do not do this! It is not secure to trade in public unless you take precautions, but I was on meds and not thinking straight.
When I got home the trade was shown on my desktop computer. I thought: Wow! they are linked.
Since then I have asked Mirus to turn this feature on and off, as some earlier beta versions were not stable, but NinjaTrader Ray's recent post about live traders using NT7 seems reasonable to me.
