Hi all,
I never cared that much about broker costs, it was never my goal to get the deepest discount brokerage, so I am with a broker now for quite some time. Today I read the sticky topic "Commission shopping w/brokerages" and read about some fees which only certain broker charge ("clearing fees") and then I got curious as actually I AM charged "clearing fees" and I began to take a close look at my account statements and began calculating my real RT costs (broker commission, clearing fee, exchange fee, transaction fee and NFA fee).
It shows that for ES and NQ I pay $4.83 per round turn. That seems quite high to me, I was checking with other brokerages (especially the new NinjaTraderBrokerage) which would charge only $3.38 per RT (according to their PDF from their website), which would be an ENORMOUS difference.....
So my question is: Am I making a mistake here? Are there any other fees which add up to the $3.38 RT for NinaTraderBrokerage?
Thanks for any answers,
Greetings,
Oliver
