Way to go ! Nice

Is it a dead end case to see options on futures of the EUREX or other european exchanges available for trading at NinjaBrokerage through CQG platform ? I was told due to Legal reasons against it in the USA, is that really the case ?

Our understanding is the CFTC has deemed options on Eurex to be unsuitable for investors and therefore only non-US customers can trade them. We are not pursuing alternate (non-US) relationships at this time to offer options on Eurex and will instead focus on growing the number of available foreign exchanges/markets.

Not sure if it is helpful, but here is a link to the CFTC no action relief pages: - CFTC

I find https://ninjatrader.com/pricing/margins/ to be a useful list of all contracts provided, with margin and commission schedules. Not included are data plans, however.

We do not have a comprehensive list at this time. I can offer the following:

CME market data is split up into the 4 separate exchanges, CME, CBOT, NYMEX, and COMEX. The common products in each are:
  • CME – mini-S&P, mini-Nasdaq, currencies (like 6E)
  • CBOT – mini-Dow, bonds (ZB, ZN), agriculture products like Wheat, Corn
  • NYMEX – Energies are the most popular, like Crude Oil (CL), Natural Gas (NG)
  • COMEX – Primarily metals like Gold (GC), and Silver (SI)
  • CME charges traders $5 per month for each individual exchange listed above, or you can receive all 4 for a bundled rate of $15 per month.

Hi,

I am looking to possibly open an account with NT brokerage and have been doing a trial and have a few questions?

1. Having the Gomi indicators working, in sim mode, seems to cause a delay or lag or slow down in data. Has anyone noticed that in a live account? I was wondering how powerful their data stream is? Or have the Gomi Indicators been improved so much, it just causes a lag? I noticed an indicator has been posted, so if you are using the Gomi Indicators, it will make NT data 1st priority, in case you have anything else open.
What I did to solve the problem, was just close all my Gomi Charts and I didn't have any other issues, with receiving data.

2. I used to have IB as my broker and they are totally electronic, no trading desk, no human comes into the equation when I place a trade. Is the NT brokerage account, completely electronic?
I have had some brokerage accounts, that had horrible fills, sometimes 10 ticks off from my initial entry.

Would like to hear, trader's experiences with having a live NT trading account.
Just send me a private message if you have a live NT brokerage account, that would be greatly appreciated?

I have brought up these questions with NT and am waiting to hear back from them: about data stream and if it is electronic. The response I got back, didn't really address my question so I thought, I would ask fellow traders what their experience has been.
I think, NT is great and do not want to want to cause them any grief, please just send me your experience through private message, on this forum.

Thank you,

Rachel

@NinjaTrader Do you also offer "Top of the Book"/Best Bid/Best Ask Quotes for a lower monthly Fee?
Some Traders do Not need the Depth/Levels other than Best Bid/Best Ask Quotes.
This is normally $1 per Exchange if offered by the Brokerage.

We expect to have support for the Top of Book from CQG soon but it’s not currently available.

I have used Ninjatrader for a long time and I wanted to try out their brokerage because they have always had good support. So I have been trading with an IRA account for some time and have used the same custodian for years. When I tried to open a small account at NTB and told them I was using a different custodian. I was emailed a response :

Quoting
your IRA custodian must be with Midland.

I find this strange that Ninjatrader Brokerage would only allow the use of a single custodian. Am I missing something ? Since it seems like they would be cutting out a lot of people who have IRAs at places like MTrust.

Math. A gateway drug to reality.
