I recently opened an account with NTB. Although I have not yet placed any trades through that account, one area that seems to be lacking is customized reporting features that provide data in not only a canned format but would allow a user to export specific trade activity in say CSV format for analyzing personal trade performance.
In order to use the account interface in the NT platform additional information has to be inputted such as commissions in order to show data more accurately. But if the database experiences issues and needs to be reset, all historical trade data is lost.
Is Ninja looking to create a better back office capability for traders?
I must admit...I'm EXTREMELY disappointed in Ninja Trader as a company!!
You originally gave us the option to trade with various brokerages and charged us $1495 for a Multi Brokerage license.
NOW you go into partnership with FXCM! Basically reducing our choices drastically and FORCE us to trade with them only and do away with the Multi Brokarage licence and replace it with Lifetime for $995.
You have taken away our FREEDOM of choice with whom we can trade with, and basically are forcing us to trade with a brokerage that is deeply in debt and and has a reputation for stop hunting!

I suspect there is a misunderstanding so I would appreciate some clarity. I will respond somewhat blindly to your comments:
- We have not taken away our Multi-Broker license
- We have not reduced any brokerage options from paying clients based on what brokerage option was available at the time of their purchase
- We just started offering FX through our brokerage but we still maintain relationships for FX trading through MB Trading, Interactive Brokers and GAIN Capital --> Nothing has changed here

- You can purchase a Lifetime license on our purchase page, it's still available
- Correct, NinjaTrader Brokerage is an IB to FXCM however, saying we are a brokerage is still correct
- Not sure the point on stop hunting and how it relates to us taking choice away
In any case, as I mentioned in my earlier post nothing has been taken away from anyone who paid for a license. You get what was available at the time of purchase.

One thing I'm certain, is that I think the Ninja Trader is the BEST charting software available anywhere, and I would rather abandon Forex and stick with Futures (ES/CL) and continue to trade with Ninja Trader!!
