I would like to stay with mirus but I dont want to use kinetick and continuum. Will zenfire be available again?

Yes, but it won't be the Zen-Fire you know. It used to be, "Zen-Fire = Rithmic", from now on it will be"Zen-Fire = BigTick". Rithmic is the feed you are used to. BigTick is what you have been using the past week. They plan on fixing BigTick, it's up to you to decide how well they are going to do that. But it will never go back to the way it was, as far as I can tell. If you want that reliable feed you are used to, you need to go to a place like AMP or Optimus.

The Zen Fire we all know and loved is dead.

If a phoenix emerges from the ashes, it will be building a reputation from ground Zero and it hasn't started
out pretty. I would not touch it now.

I agree with another poster.

AMP and Optimus are the two best choices at this point.

All I can vouch for is AMP, because I have been with them for years.
@mattz seems like a great guy - technically savvy and I'm sure is doing a great job .

Remember, if you call... both these shops are small in comparison to large companies and may be swamped
with the Great Mirus Migration ... they may be tired and short ...

I would certainly reinstall .17 , if you start fresh somewhere else.

There is a thread/posts on this on the NT forum just the other day.

My memory says:

The answer is 'no you don't'. There is even a post from someone confirming that AMP themselves agreed v18 is fine.

@NinjaTrader can confirm

It still makes me nervous... anytime updates are rushed out like this I stand pat ...
Unless I need the update for a particular function, I wait ..

I'm using 18 with Optimus without any issues.

V18 is solid. It was the Zen-Fire system that was out, nothing to do with V18. We will be releasing V19, likely tomorrow which includes native Rithmic support.

What about Cannon Trading (https://www.cannontrading.com HQ is in Beverly Hills! Pricey location! They must be doing something right.). Heard from Joe Easton today who was willing to meet Mirus commissions and offer Rithmic for free. I'm considering it....or Optimus. Any opinions? / Experience with Cannon?....anyone?

After all, it's what you learn AFTER you know it all, that counts!
