I am currently using TDAmeritrade as my broker but can't trade futures through NT. I am thinking about switching to IB but I would appreciate any suggestions or advice you could offer. I have ALS and I am totally paralyzed. I have to use an eye gaze device to operate the computer. I am very interested in using the ATM and automated trading since the eye gaze is rather slow a not very accurate. I've wasted a lot of money hitting the wrong button. Is IB a good fit with NT? Are there better choices?

Thanks in advance.

Optimus Futures "Traders Platform" with the Visions connector because of the excellent support.

EDIT: Added link.

IB does not have historical data for tick charts, only minute charts.
Good as a broker, cheap.

Use kinetick for your data with NT.

It depends really on how you trade, if you need really accurate data or not. IBs data is sent aggregated, its like getting packets of data, but when its unpacked its not accurately assigned. Its fast, but not precise tick data.

Cheers,

IB works fine with Ninja Trader. I don't use a separate data provider. My trading style doesn't require it.

Thanks for the information in these posts. I trade equities and index futures. I've been using TradeStation for a few years and started using ninja trader recently. I've been looking at brokers and after reading up and calling at a few of them settled on these guys for futures.

I talked on the phone with Matt, he answered my questions but I felt like he took more care and interest than the other brokers I talked to... it left me with the feeling he's really pulling for you. I've been testing with the data, it's been reliable.

I am considering purchasing the Jigsaw DOM.
I would like to trade through the Jigsaw DOM on Ninja.

I believe Jigsaw promotes the S5 Brokerage because you can trade the Jgsaw through their platform.

I wouldn't be using their platform - I would be using Ninja and the Jigsaw DOM to trade through.

Does anyone have any experience with S5 Trading Corp?
How was it?
Their Data feed is Rithmic - are they as good as CQG?

Is anyone trading through the Jigsaw DOM?
Does it work as well or better than the Ninja DOM?

Thanks-

you might want to checkout the 9G dom as well. I started a thread here:

as 9G should be working with any broker that supports ninjatrader, it's good to know that 9G and optimus futures teamed up!!

Depth of Market Trading In [AUTOLINK]NinjaTrader[/AUTOLINK]; Add-on to NinjaTrader

now it's like having the best of both worlds
