It said "transmitting" . No I have High speed cable, and im connected right to the modem.

Connection wasn't lost b/c prices kept moving on the DOM and on the chart.

"you signed a contract saying that Ironbeam is not responsible for technical problems" is a cop out.

But maybe big mike was right in a sense that I should of called broker and told them to cancel that market order.

If it said 'transmitting', then it was still on your PC and had not been accepted by their servers.

Like I said, I have never used Ironbeam, but most platforms have an order feed and a market data feed. Because prices kept moving meant you did not lose connection to the market data feed. That doesn't mean that the order feed was connected.

So the question is, if you sent a market order and it said transmitting for more than a few seconds, and you were not filled, why did you not cancel it ? You expect to send market orders and then you expect it to come back as filled quickly.

I had a similar problem with AMP. Their market data feed was so slow, a market order was filled several ticks away from the market that their market data feed was showing. I stopped using AMP. I use TT now, and it has been great. Live and learn.

A trade is never a complete loss if you learn something from it.

Math. A gateway drug to reality.

only one thing left to do, run away!

The one who should run away are his brokers!
The maturity level he showed on this thread is of a child.

"excited as a 14 year old girl"...."guess how much I made on my 1,500..."

This is such a tough business, where people dedicate years to learn and study approaches and methods, and all he could say is "yeah...you guys were right, it is though..."

Iron beam allowed him to open a small account and accommodate it, and the legacy for their kindness would be this thread he posts that they have a bad connection.

He couldn't even bother and spend 100 bucks to become elite to view a few of the great resources here.
