I am looking for a broker to trade futures through and am looking for some advice..
I have demo'd some futures brokers with Ninja Trader plus a data feed and have been quite happy with them.
I have also compared this to CFD providers (apparently DMA) that trade futures and have been less than impressed with the spreads and quotes they provide, the spreads are widened and there is other manipulation of the data feed. This is very easy to see when you are running a separate data feed along side their platform.
My trading style is scalping so having accurate data to the tick is important.
I don't know if I will qualify for a Futures account (apparently they are more difficult to be approved than a regular stocks/options account) so this is why I am also investigating CFD providers as an alternative in the case I don't qualify.
Does anyone know of a CFD provider that does not manipulate the data feed that would suit my trading style?

You sum it up. The main difference seems to be in th UK...CFD are betting and thus tax free IF you make a profit this is a significant difference on the bottom line
