Anyone compared the TT fix adapter data vs. Zenfire to run Ninja? I might switch brokers and they can only run Ninja with the TT fix and I'm concerned as to whether the TT fix is as fast as Zenfire and whether or not it is filtered. I have used Patsystems data for Ninja before and it was horrible for tick and volume charts - hoping TT fix would be comparable to Zenfire.
Thanks.

I can't say about the quality of the data themselves, but the integration of TT in NT is not good at all.
After each daily TT disconnection, impossible to reconnect NT to TT.
Restarting NT was not enough, I had to reboot the machine itself .
So, unless an update of the TT API or the NT connector, maybe on of the worst datafeed available for NinjaTrader.

I have not had the same exp. with TT as @sam28. I looked at the stability between APM/Zenfire and TT and TT was better except a daily disconnect.

There are different levels of TT feeds and they are not all the same, so it depends on your FCM and YMMV. I would suggest getting a demo.

Can you describe what the "daily disconnect" is? When I used Patsystems it would disconnect after market hours and I needed to restart Ninja to re-connect. it was not a big problem as it was after US market hours. If the disconnect happens at random during the day that would be an issue.

Thanks.

I have random disconnects with TT, but there seems to be a regular disconnect / reconnect @ 3 am Chicago time everyday for about 15 or 20 seconds. I am not trading at that time, I just noticed that it was very regular.

I don't have to disconnect or re-connect.

On my side, tested on two different computers, if I restart NinjaTrader when TT is disconnected, I can reconnect, and have to reboot.
But I'm maybe just very unlucky .
I will try to restart NT with TT feed connected, and see if it works.

Not sure what firm you guys were with but here we no longer use the daily resets. We stopped 3-4 months ago when a new FIX Adapter version was released.

If you have any questions about our services at Velocity Futures please send me a private message.

Can anybody share their current experiences with ninjatraders tt fix adapter? I'm wondering why there were issues in the past, because ninja utilize the common quickfix api and the server side implementation should also be reliable. Perhaps @Dale Box can share some insights from his trading desk.

Thanks in advance!
