I understand that there IS a difference between their data feed for a live/funded account versus a demo account. The data for demo accounts is apparently hosted on a separate server and delayed. Take a look at the quote from my PFG rep.

"As for our futures data, it is streamed on our BEST Direct data feed. This data comes directly from the exchanges and is not filtered, delayed or altered in anyway. Really the only time you would see a delay in your data Is by logging in with a demo account that is on our delayed quote server(as long as you have live and funded account, your demo will remain on our live quote server), you will notice this on Ninja Trader because the data is basically impossible to chart. You may see a delay or a lag on the data in a live account if you are requesting too many symbols for quotes, charts, etc. PFGBEST®, depending on the resources on your computer, recommend not requesting more than 10 contracts at one time: this includes all chart and the number of contracts being quoted on the market analyzer (quote board) window."

I have trade Forex with them in the past on Ninja Trader and my advice is stay away from PFG Best. They may have a nice customer service but that is ALL, for trading it is UNRELIABLE. Quotes lags very often, it is terrible [I am talking about live funded account]... If you are using NT they will always blame Ninja Trader, that is their excuse.

PFG Best it is a joke, RUN... Believe me, PFG Bad is really bad.

Agreed, PFGs data is absolutely rubbish. Their support is also only good for picking up the phone and thats about where it ends. They have a habit of blaming other platforms (thier own platform is unstable and not even worth installing) and nothing has changed in the last 5 years. Thier commission are the highest I have seen. I think their management are old dinosaurs and lost sight of whats happening in the industry.
